Key Stage 3 – The foundations of your GCSE exams
The first few years of secondary school bring a number of challenges as students adapt to a large number of compulsory subjects. They also need to develop study skills and time management skills to stay on top of their workloads and be able to enjoy their free time as teenagers.
Not every student progresses at the same pace as their peers or has an aptitude for the full range of subjects. Not only can this dent confidence, but it can also have a knock-on effect on other subjects. A private tutor can help boost a student’s learning in a subject or even just a specific topic as well as help them with good study discipline and organisation.
Our tutors all have good degrees in the subjects they teach and a track record of working with teenagers.
To find out more about how we can help, please call our team today on +447440229279 who will be happy to discuss your particular requirements and help you find a suitable tutor. Alternatively, you arrange a private tutor here and one of our team will contact you on the next working day regarding your enquiry.
How can we help you prepare?
A PERSONALISED SERVICE FOCUSED ON RESULTS Helping students relieve their anxieties about school work or exams requires learning that is personalised and delivered by tutors with a track record of success. Here at MFK Tutors, our tuition service is delivered one-to-one, and tailored to accurately match the right tutor to each student based on their individual educational needs.
Course Content:
We follow the latest national curriculum for Secondary Schools. The subjects are progressive and advanced, allowing your child to extend their skills beyond what they may acquire in a regular school environment. We focus on English, Maths, and the sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics). Your child’s target level for each year will depend on their level when leaving school. However, we aim for children to exceed their targets and make at least three sub-levels of progress each year.
Material:
All online tutoring material is provided during the course and is included in the tuition fee. Parents wanting to use paper material along with the online teaching resources can purchase this for a modest fee.
